One of the most scenic views of sunset you can get around Kochi. This place is totally underrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s “just” a rock and a church, there’s almost no other infrastructure available (like cafés, stores etc). There’s not even a bench for you to sit atop the rock. But, you can drive your car to almost the top of the rock, and since there’s not much people around, you can kind of leave your car there. From there, you’d have to walk for about 3 minutes to get to the viewpoint.
The viewpoint provides a wide 180 degree angle of view and if you go there during the evening (which you totally should), you can get to watch the sunset.

Time :Within an hour and a half of time.
This is a place where you can relax in the early morning??. There is also a small stream on the left.
On the left is the Sunrise (east) and the Malayattoor hill. Looking ahead you can see a canal, a nearby church and a landscape in the distance. The songs and tranquility from the nearby church in the early morning create a nice ambience.
By seven o'clock in the morning, the nearest quarry was open and the number of vehicles was increasing, causing noise disturbances.
?Travelers please. Be careful not to litter the area with plastic.

സമയം - ഒന്നര മണിക്കൂറിൻ ഉള്ളിൽ
അതിരാവിലെ ശാന്തമായി വന്നിരിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ ഒരിടമാണ് ഇവിടം. ഇടതു വശത്തായി ഒരു ചെറിയ വെള്ള ചാലും ഉണ്ട്.
ഇടതു ഭാഗത്താണ് സൂര്യോദയം (കിഴക്ക് )മലയാറ്റൂർ മലയും ഈ ഭാഗത്തു കാണാം. മുന്നോട്ടു നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരു കനാലും അടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു പള്ളിയും ദൂരേക്ക് കിടക്കുന്ന ഭൂ പ്രികൃതിയും കാണാം. അതിരാവിലെ അടുത്തുള്ള പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള പാട്ടുകളും ശാന്തമായ നല്ല ഒരു ചുറ്റുപാട് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. രാവിലെ ഏഴുമണി ആകുമ്പോഴേക്കും അടുത്തുള്ള ക്വാറി യും മറ്റും പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനാലും, വണ്ടികളുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടുന്നതിനാലും, അതുമൂലമുണ്ടാകുന്ന ശബ്ദം അസ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു.
?ദയവു ചെയ്ത് യാത്രികരാരും തന്നെ. ഇവിടം പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് അടക്കമുള്ള മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു വൃത്തികേടാക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.
