Finally some water sports in the north other than white water rafting. It's a great place to get a break in summers and also enjoy the sports in addition to cool temperatures of hill station. In addition to the water sports, the mesmerizing view of the area serves like bonus. Definitely recommended to visit.

Amazing experience. Per person they charge around 1k. So fresh & lively feeling !! Mountain with snow can be seen from the lake along with blue water.. You can relate it to any of similar foreign trip if you have been.

The Tehri Dam is the tallest dam in India. It is a multi-purpose rock and earth-fill embankment dam on the Bhagirathi River near Tehri in Uttarakhand, India. It is the primary dam of the THDC India Ltd. and the Tehri hydroelectric complex. Phase 1 was completed in 2006. The Tehri Dam withholds a reservoir for irrigation, municipal water supply and the generation of 1,000 megawatts (1,300,000 hp) of hydroelectricity. The dam's 1,000 MW variable-speed pumped-storage scheme is currently under construction with expected commissioning in 2025.

Enjoy water sports, proper counter is not maintained for tickets. The people are doing things on there own way. They are least bothered about people. Loved boating there.
