Bharat Ratna Swatantriya Veer Savarkar ko naman ??? Very informative and eye opening place. Read his books and get to know the man and the person behind the rashtravaadi thoughts and he will not disappoint you. One will realize very quickly how important is his written work in today's context along with the other great forgotten / buried real heroes during the struggle for Indian Independence. Today I saw the Light and Sound show. It was fantastic. Every Hindu and every Rashtravaadi person should watch it. It tells us the story of this man who was one of the greatest Indian Independence struggle heroes, in a very simple and enjoyable manner, which is worth watching. Akhand Bharatvarsh Amar Rahe ??????

Veer Savarkar used to stay in dadar but unfortunately for a long time there was absolutely no memorial in the name of this great thinker/revolutionary. Savarkar Smarak is a tribute to Savarkar and his thoughts. The center propagates thoughts of Veer Savarkar through its activities. Apart from the activities the building hosts murals on the Independence movement, a big statue of Savarkar, a light and sound show in the evening and a state of the aft auditorium.
