It is a perfect Weekend getaway. The road to the dam is more beautiful than the dam itself. The dam provides very good scenery since it is surrounded by mountain and lush green trees. Good place to rejuvenate and enjoy the nature. . The best time to visit is during the month of July to November. Sufficient space is there for bike and four wheeler parking . It is not advisable to get into water as many casualties have been reported.

Nice place for swimming One of the places for quick visits in Palghar Situated between the ghats Can be visited with freinds. Need to bring snacks from nearby market since no shops available nearby. Mostly clean and full of people during holidays. Water is clean however do not go inside if you don't know swimming.
