This was a good experience overall ordering from Surve. I would give it 3.5? Food was good - we shared Chicken Alani Biryani (very different, very close to rice pilaf style) and Mutton Handi (very spicy. Whoa. Hello heartburn?) with jowari bhakri (lovely and soft). Chicken rice was very nice and since it wasn't spicy at all , it was enjoyed by our 3.4 year old daughter. The mutton was way too spicy for my spiciness levels - lots of heartburn afterwards :( I would still recommend for those who are into very spicy food and can appreciate these dishes. I would order it again perhaps :)

One of the best places to have authentic marathi non veg food. They have some amazing variety of dishes in chicken, mutton and fish lover. The food is fresh cooked, quality and quality is good, prices are decent. The place is well maintained, staff is friendly. Is a family place. The only issue is the parking as you need to roam a lot to get some space for your vehicle, rest everything is taken care of. Reservations recommended at rush hours.

One of the favourite place for Non-veg. They serve pure non-vegetarian maharashtrian thali. Chicken thali, mutton thali, aalani soup. You can share the thali to avoid the food wastage. Ambience and service is good. They don’t serve buttermilk, Solkadhi which is disappointing after heavy meal.

Surve is THE Number 1 place for authentic, tradional maharashtrian mutton thali hands down. Idhar nahin khaaya toh kya khaaya. For my family mutton thali means Surve's, period!!! The ambience here is beautiful and welcoming. Every preparation here is mindblowing. Special mention for alani, alani bhaat and mutton alani fry. All the preps using alani are kid friendly. If you like rich masaledaar food than kheema mutton and mutton fry is apt for you. The quality of mutton being served here is exceptional. The icing on the cake - you get to share the thaali too so no wastage of food or money.

This awesome weather demanding a bowl of warm simple Alni soup, tandoor starters, a comfortable place where you can sit for ages, watch the rain thru the window, enjoy some quality time with loved ones. So I followed my Dil...came here with my better half, and my two growing up kids. The Camp branch has a warm ambience, spacious, with party sections and a regular section. Seating is also spaced out and individual privacy guaranteed. Looking around, I observed that apart from the local Punekari, there were many customers coming from different states of India and abroad. The location is apt to have a business meet with a client or team building (boasting) lunches or birthday/anniversary celebrations or a quick bite. I began with the warm soup, enjoying the taste while my Tandoori starters were getting prepared. #Reshmikebabs. : Came soft, creamy, succulent and grilled to perfection. A squeeze of lime and I found it yummy. #ChickenTikka : The most popular item from the Mughlai cuisine. It was full on flavors. It was overdone and dry. #ChickenAlni… soulfood, simple and perfect. It acted as a pallet cleanser between the food that was coming to the table. #TheckaChicken…Hirvya Mirchi Cha thecha wrapped around juicy pieces was delicious. This is made in most Maharashtrian homes, it’s comfort food, so for me the not so much heat from chillies works. Finger licking. #MuttonCholeykebabs : When the dish arrived, it won my heart. Soft chunky boneless pieces of mutton were to die for. Absolutely well marinated . Definitely a # The special #chickenthali was a killer. Best Satara recipe. Contains sizable pieces of meat in the chicken masala, alni chicken, chicken kheema and red Rassa with onion raita, bhakri and rice. And they allow you to share a thali between two.
