Nice view and decent room. It’s actually a 1BHK flat with its own kitchen space and living room(kind of). But its not that easily accessible from the main road. Don’t trust google maps blindly if you want to go to this place. As many times G-Maps will show you routes that can be only used by a 2 wheeler (even though you are driving car). During my stay the bed sheet and towels were very worn out and needed to be replaced. Staff was courteous enough to accommodate late checks out and other requests.

The reception who is on duty on the morning doesn't have any manners.Usually if there is early check in they should only charge 30%, but here they charge 50%. I don't understand there logic. The staffs were really nice except the receptionist. The room was ok but the is no facilities to boast off, except the location and good view of akkulam lake. There is precisely nothing. The rooms are ok that's it. The price of this property is being just shot up, i don't know why.

Tyche Stays is a very popular OYO for people coming to Trivandrum. The location is easily accessible. Lulu Mall is just around the corner. The rooms are really spacious. You get a decent sized bedroom with a hall and an attached kitchen. That's great if you're staying for more than 1 day. There is a small balcony to spend the evening. But it's small and there are no chairs. You might have a problem with mosquitoes too. The view is good if you get a room at a high floor. There are 18 floors. Of course, you can't decide what floor you get when you book with OYO. To extend your stay, you have to use OYO app. The first day, we got it for ₹1600 and the second day, it showed 2700 but we got it for ₹2000, there was an offer from OYO. Is it worth ₹2000 though? I don't think so. It's definitely worth 1600, but you rarely get it at that price. It's probably gonna cost you upwards of ₹2500. Overall Tyche Stays is good. I really wish they would maintain it better.

They charged extra money even after paying the entire booking fees online. They claimed that we have booked on low tarrif rates that is below their normal rates. You guys should display whatever amount in the website itself and don't charge extra after confirming the rooms.
