Holy place. Located near Bamuni Hills, this temple came into existence centuries ago. It is preserved & developed by the efforts of the local people & govt municipality. It is situated up above the hills & the devotee should take steps to reach the temple shrine. Animal sacrifice is prevalent here. The temple sees a rush of devotees during the Durga Puja time.

Serene.. Peaceful.. Positive Energy.. This temple, also locally known as Mainthan is located in the outskirts of Tezpur with Brahmaputra river flowing. Goddess Durga is worshipped here. If you wish to embrace yourself with the divine positive energy of Ma Durga, do visit once. Jai Mata di!!! ?

Peaceful environment, well mannered priest. Bhairavi Mandir is one of the 51th Sakti Peeth. This is situated at the top of a hill, near Bamuni Hills. The environment is full of silence, positivity, clean, cool and greenery. River Bhorolu or Brahmaputra is flowing besides the temple.
