SouthIndies is good vegetarian restaurant providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well as name suggest the cuisine is South Indian but it doesn't doesn't justify the name due to its different menu on different days or different times. Today it was the dosa and appam day, have heard in other days they provide idili and vada too. A full justification to name would be to provide all varieties at all time thus helping customer choose what he wants to have on that day. Quality, quantity and taste of food is great, so is service and people are polite and helpful. Overall a satisfied food experience. Must try from the items that I tried is appam and stew, battered pineapple fry, paniyaram (steamed rice flour) with cocunut chutny and peanut chutny, curd rice, elaneer paysam (tender coconut kheer) and gulab jamoons.

Good South themed vegetarian restaurant located at the heart of Indiranagar. We visited the place for Lunch on a Friday, had already booked tables but don't think there would have been any waiting either way. Valet parking is available outside so parking won't be a headache. We had the Buffet, which consisted of good variety of starters served at the table. Then, there is a small self service Chaat cum panipuri stall. Main Course also had good variety. Although would say nothing in the food really stood out. Service just a tad bit slow but otherwise a nice experience.

1st thing you'll notice about this place is the good hospitality, the staff gives you a warm welcome, variety of starters are served on the table, main course meals served as buffet. Friendly staff Food quality was ok, found slate rice in starter and hair in uppam. Food taste and presentation is good. Rates are reasonable.
