An extremely crowded station. Although galloping trains don't stop here. It's very near of BT Road. From sodepur you can go towards Madhyamgram.

Important Station in Sealdah Main line section (north). 5th station from sealdah , no mail or express having a storage in their schedule. All local trains expect some galloping local train stops here. It has 4 no of platforms. 1 and 3 for up line ,2 and 4 for down line. It has a subway connecting all platforms and entry and exit gates. You may get auto for bt road beside platform no 1 and if you want to go for Madhyamgram then you have to go from 4 no platform.
