I love this place. Family owned restaurant, their recipes have been passed down from generation to generation maintaining the purity of flavors and textures intact.

The food served was delicious.the quality of the food served was good. The restaurant was clean and the food were served by people with smiling faces. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and the decor on the wall as you enter was warm welcome to us. The food was not expensive but that did not affect its quality either .highly recommended for good warm north Indian food.

This is the best among the affordable for family or even solo trips.
To start with the restaurant:
Located in the ground floor, the restaurant offers homely vegetarian dishes. One visit here and you become a regular visitor.
Extremely calm and serene.
The owners of the restaurant make it a point to make you feel comfortable and at ease.
The Tea house:
Why would anyone just visit a tea house at the top floorfloor you have a full fledged restaurant in the ground floor was the first thought I had. But a visit to the tea house will make you regret the thought. The ambience just changes in a few steps.
With variety of choices to make in tea- yes tea in variety of flavours, you can spend hours relaxing in the overlooking area, reading the books placed there or just browsing on your phone through the excellent internet connection offered while sipping the hot cup of tea. And did I mention, the cost of tea and even the food compares nothing to the taste that is offered. It's hard to find taste and quality at such low price.
Finally coming to the best part:
Had come to stay at the beach for few days and in search of rooms chanced to visit this restaurant. Hidden behind the restaurant and the tea house are two excellent rooms.
The rooms are well maintained, cleaned daily and has all basic facilities except for televison. But on vacation, that too in God's own country, who cares for a television set?
In short, this is a must visit place if you are in trivandrum and craving for a good vegetarian meal or a refreshing cup of tea.

The Malai Kofta is the best I've tasted anywhere in India. Amazing meal, great teas upstairs in a chilled out space, awesome place. The map location is incorrect. It's behind the Crab Club. Take the small alleyway beside Crab Club. It's next to Alan's.
