This south facing sacred temple of Goddess Kali is at Balidaghata, Halisahar at the side of Ghoshpara road and also at the side of river Bhagirathi. The temple is dalan style with three arched entrances to the porch in front of gorvamandir. One spacious natmandir in front for religious purpose. This temple was founded by famous Choudhuri family more than 300 year ago. Krishna Chandra Roy established Lord Shiv here transferring from Barendra Gali Shiv temple. Huge nos of devotees come here every day to worship God.

This ancient temple of South facing Goddess Kali is almost 300 years old. It is located at Bolidaghata , Halisahar. The serenity is increased by the bhagirathi river flowing just beside this temple. There are also separate temple for Lord Shiva & a 'Natmandira' in its compound. A bathing ghat is there. Visited on 26.8.21, it is now open for public & offering to the deity was also allowed maintaining Covid related norms.
