I visited this place in feb,2014,very famous and reputed temple in this area, specially in the time of holy festival it is crowdy.

The Dauji temple is related to Balarama , the elder brother of Lord Krishna . It is considered to be the oldest temple of ' Vallabh Sampradaya ' in Mathura . Situated on the banks of river Yamuna , this temple is also called 'Gopal Lalji Temple'. In the temple, Dauji, Madan Mohan Ji and Shri Vigraha of Ashtabhuj Gopal are seated. The main ' Baldev Temple ' of Dauji or Balaram is in Baldev in Mathura itself . There is a full-fledged market on the circumambulation path around the temple like a serpent's coil. There is also a huge pool behind the temple, which Puranas have described as 'Balabhadra Kund' . Nowadays it is called as 'Kshirsagar'. Dauji Shri Balaram hi is the Maharaj of Braj kshetra and this temple dedicated to Maharaj ji is grand and huge. Devotees love Dauji a lot and his daily worship and darshan is done with great pomp and glory. The temple is spread in quiet a big area and inside there are many verses and shloka and prayers written on the wall to glorify Lord Anant Shesha .There is a nice bazaar at the entrance and there are many shops selling Maakhan Mishri the favorite Bhoga of Dauji. Inside the sanctum sanctorium there is only earthen diya which lights up the black divine diary of dauji which looks truly divine from close.Devotees gather in huge number for daily prayers.Truly a must divine temple for darshan.
