This is a Shiva temple (Bhimashankar) in small village, At:Taka, Ta: Ausa, Dist: Latur. This temple is built in period of Devgiri reigncy 1100-1200 A.D. In the construction of this temple big hard black rocks are used and carved with different Hindu Gods on its pillers. This is built in the Style of Hemdpanthi. There is another temple of the same style 1 km away from it in Masurdi Village. Both of the temples are splendid. But the temple in Masurdi has less carvation work comparing to the Bhimashankar temple. One can easily visit these places, kolhapur-solapur-tuljapur-latur-Nagpur, National Highway passes just 3km away from it. But local people don't know the exact period of this temple so they say it is built by Rakshas in a night .
