History of this place like as The Lady late Mrs. Gopikabai Thakre had donated 11.36 acre land. At that time this land was barren in nature.The late Wamanrao Godbole who was Bhim Sainik has started journey in 1985 to make this place to known today's name "SHANTIVAN".Now Govt has taken initiative to develop the entire area in point of view tourism and devotional place for followers of Br. B.R.Ambedakar and Gautam Buddha. This place also have Museum in remembering Br. B.R. Ambedakar. You will be seeing lacs of followers most visiting on 14 April and 16 December. And also near by place you can go on hilly area too. So whenever possible I am sure you will definitely visit this place. if this information helpful to you then share to your love one and give thumbs up.
