Located beside Holy Ganga this is one of the most popular visiting places of the local people and the morning walkers. It is also known for the old crematorium. Most of the immersions of all idols on all occasions are organized here under expert supervision. The old structure was almost in a ruin when the Ghat was reconstructed and beautified. The morning sunrise is an impressive view from here.

Since it is beside one of the famous ghat in the Konnagar-Hugli belt, it looses a bit credibility yet it is one of the well maintained ghats on the bank of Hugli river. Seperate waste bins, covered siting space and has adaptibility for both ganges devotees and durga puja immersion parade. Conjoined with two old replicas of Baro mandir style temples on the left and a mandapa on the right. Maintained by a trust i guess
