Secunderabad Junction , is a major intercity railway station and a commuter rail hub in the Hyderabad urban area. In the city centre, the station is in the South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways.The station was taken over by Indian Railways in 1951, when NGSR was nationalized.The station, which resembles a fort, is a tourist attraction in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It is one of the busiest railway station in Hyderabad and south India..most of the trains passes from Secunderabad junction..it has total 10 platforms..its neat and clean..

One of the busiest railway station in Telangana and Headquarter of South Central Railway.It is well connected to all parts of the country. Very well maintained and found very clean compared to other railway stations in Northern Railways.There are total 10 platforms available here. To save time and hassle free parking it is suggested to reach through rear gate which means platform No. 10 side.Good transportation facilities including taxi stand/OLA counter. Can be improved to executive grade.

Built in 1874 by the Nizam of Hyderabad during the British era, it was the main station of Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway until the Kachiguda railway station opened in 1916. The station was taken over by Indian Railways in 1951, when NGSR was nationalized. Its main portico and concourse are influenced by Nizamesque architecture.The station, which resembles a fort, is a tourist attraction in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
