Dr.Prabakaran is the leading best Gastroenterology specialist of Nagercoil. The hospital is equipped with latest technology operation theater, medical equipment and lab facility. This leads to world class treatment at affordable cost. The hospital is also having Gynaecology department headed by doctor Mrs.Uma Maheswari. Update Dec:2022 Even though the treatment in the hospital is best in class, the office procedures are very much disappointing. There is so much delay in every procedures followed in the hospital. For example recently my relative had a surgery in the hospital. During admission for surgery also, we had to wait for at-least 4 hours to get one room. Even there is no scarcity of rooms. After arguing with the staff only we got admitted. On the day of discharge, it is intimated that she will be discharged in the morning. But it happened only at 9:00 PM. This delay is always happening in this hospital. This kind of lapses will degrade the quality of the hospital. May be the doctor is unaware of these things happening in his hospital.

The gastro team at Sathyam Hospital is reliable efficient and extremely accurate in it's diagnosis thanks to the Head of the department Dr.A.Prabhakaran whose clinical accuracy is of par excellence.

Worst Management, Irresponsible staffs including Doctor, We can not claim any insurance from this hospital at any case. Mostly an insurance claiming has been rejected in this hospital. I request you to please get all information about an insurance claiming to this hospital from an Insurance company, before admitting here. Doing Treatment based on money motive only. Very Bad Experience.
