Sarovaram (also known as Sarovaram Bio Park) is an eco-friendly development near Kottooly in Kozhikode city in India. The park is situated adjacent to Canoly Canal. The project has been developed with an eco-friendly theme and is located in an ecosystem consisting of wetlands and mangrove forests containing bird habitats. The park is open round the year, from Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 AM till 07:30 PM

A place rich in biodiversity at the center of the city, set up made here as a park was a great idea to preserve it from encroachments even though it had to compromise little towards the ecosystem prevailed here. Initially it was well maintained with proper care and maintenance however the current situation is pathetic. You can just walk through the path created along the sides of the mangroves and can sit there for sometime and enjoy, that's all..Time restrictions are there too and people who like to have a greenery and calm atmosphere can preferably use this location. For birding this will be an apt place as you can see more number species here and it is an area to be protected..

Kozhikode sarvaram bio park is one of the best place where you can spend your leisure time. It's eco diversity is so precious and should be experience at least once. This is the one of the place in Kozhikode City which has trees and nature atmosphere. Besides you will get an open theatre, kids park and so many other things.

Take a walk through the nature. This park hasn't disturbed the forest ecosystem much like other parks.Especially for couples it is much good no moral policing.There will be a ticket to get entry. Overall a good experience!
