People keep asking me for a place that they can visit in the Old city for a good view, food & not too much trouble of parking, especially for cars. The place I'm about to mention has been my favorite for the past 10 years. Sargam Sadan which is located outside Brahmpole just behind the masjid is a hotel which has a restaurant on 2 floors one with covered seating & another one on the rooftop with a beautiful & mesmerizing view of the city. The place offers both Veg & Non. Veg food. They serve a variety of food options including snacks, fast food, Chinese & Indian main course food. We ordered- - Chana Chaat - Spider Roll - Kadai Paneer - Dal Makhani - Garlic Naan Everything in the food was delicious with no problems in any dishes. The stars had to be their main course dishes which were Kadai Paneer & Dal Makhani. Kadai Paneer was very soft & the taste was a little high on the spice side just the way I like & Dal Makhani had a thick Creamy consistency which was really good. Overall this place is a must visit for people looking for lake view places with good food, less crowded from foreign tourists as it is unexplored. The service was fast but we were there early as well. The quantity & quality of the food was good. The staff was polite & the owner suggested the paneer dish which turned out to be good so he knew what was happening in the kitchen. It's one of those places I failed to find anything that was not up to the mark but as I'm a regular customer I might've overlooked if there were any. Total Bill came to INR 1155 which also had cold drinks & taxes included in it.

A mid scale restaurant with an amazing food service and superb rooftop view, furniture and cushions need an upgrade. There are two different restaurant with a closed setup and another rooftop. Located in corner and close to cremation ground.

It was my first time in Udaipur, and in Sargam Sadan, I was having lots of questions before visiting here but when I reached i got answer, People over here are very good and supportive, they treated us like family member, We have visited Udaipur to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and Sargam Sadan have given us a very precious souvenir for arranging part by them. Sepcial thanks to Mr. Neeraj, Mr Karan Singh, Mukesh And Ranveer the restaurant friend. Hotel have a very good lake view and a very peaceful place to stay rooms are very good as compared to price offered and services is awesome, it you are visiting first time then also most recommended.

Clean and peaceful environment. Children really enjoyed. Hostel staff was helpful and cheerful. Excellent view from the hotel room, Great food with great roof top restaurant.
