Visited this lake. It is in the foothills of amber fort. This lake stores water of the hills and also of rain. In old days the fort survived on such lakes fort water requirement during summers. The place has jungle in its surroundings and many wild animals like leopard, wild bores and deers found here. It’s a perfect place for shooting off videos and movies. Rather many Hollywood and Bollywood movies have been shot here. Best time to visit this place is from November to February. Place is safe and people are very friendly. U can visit other historical forts and temple here.

Amer’s ‘Sagar Lake’ is no more a hidden treasure for jaipurites as they frequently visit Sagar for an outing. But most of us restrict our self at the front side of the lake which devoid us to see the hidden beauty of this divine water body !! ??

Situated just behind the Amer fort. Lots of greenery and mountains around. It is a stock dam type construction, covered by mountains from 3 sides and blocked by man-made walo from one side. Best time to visit is around monsoon. If you are planning to visit in summer days please plan early in the morning as temperature rises, it becomes difficult to roam around.

Awesome scenery . Lavish greenery full mountains. Hill area of Jaipur. Best for picnic as well as weekend hotspot. Parking is available. Location is just nearby and behind Amer fort . Must to visit in monsoon time.Too much rush in rainy season, as well as parking space. Many monkeys are also here so be safe In sagar lake many times there is crocodile is also seen .
