Got referred to R&J by a friend based on the experience he had from the Rupin Pass trek. This being my first time trekking at high altitudes, was a bit apprehsive at first, but talking to Taarak set off these apprehensions. We had taken the Lamayuru Trek package and it was a really delightful experience
The entire trekking journey though Tedius was filled with Fun and Motivation. The Guides and the itenary selected by Taarak were excellent. Each day was a sight to behold unveiling new scenery that was not seen before. From plains to mountains rocky nothingness to lush green patches , seering sun to freezing cold, gots to yaks - enrichment is at the core. Though the Trek ended up being a lot more difficult than expected, it will still loads of fun
Would certainly recommend Taarak and co @Roads And Journeys if you are looking for a wonderful and pleasant trekking experience even in the harshest of conditions. would have given 6 stars if Google had the option !

I celebrated my birthday with a trek. It was wonderful. We spent 8 days together and every detail was taken care of. Our guides were generous and knowledgeable. The schedule had a nice balance so everyone could find their rhythm walking and we had enough leisure time to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes. The food and tea breaks gave us a chance to meet the locals. Overall, it was very safe, well-organized and very enjoyable. I highly recommend Roads and Journeys for new and experienced hikers and any nature lover.

If you want to start a trek, look no further than Roads and Journeys. Tarak is a fantastic guy who you can genuinely become friends with. I did the Kashmir Great Lakes trek with him and I should say it was very well organized. Tarak takes a personal interest in mapping out every single detail to keep you comforted throughout the journey..So I would say, definitely have a journey with Roads and Journeys!

I have done 3 high altitude treks with roads and journeys and I would recommend them to everyone ! Taarak is a great trek leader and he makes the entire experience a super memorable one that you want to plan for your next one as soon as you finish one !!

Trekking for me was a like the hardest thing to do until I met "THE TREK LEAD - TARAK" :-) My brother recommended me "Roads and Journey" and shared one of his friend's experience which was quite fascinating for me. Listening to that I planned my VALLEY OF FLOWERS trek with R&J. Honestly it was like the best moments of my life to experience nature from so close and I really want to thank Tarak for making the trip a wonderful vacation and an unforgettable experience.
