Historical holy place by the side of river Ganges. Once upon a time Rani Rashmoni had lived here and now a beautiful mandir have been founded to Keep the memories of Rani Rashmoni. Many people come here to see this beautiful place. Every year a religious mala have been conducted here to celebrate the birthday of Rani Rashmoni.

Today I went here in the afternoon.. It was a bit crowdy because of sunday. It is a beautiful place beside the Hoogly river with its scenic beauty. The main attraction here is house of Rani Rashmoni and the Goddess Kali Temple. People can ride small boat in the beautiful hoogly river for reasonable price to spend some beautiful time. Lots of food shop placed in this place. Special food here is low cost Fuchka/Panipuri.

Very tranquil and beautiful place to spend sometime, whether you want to just sit next to river Hooghly or visit the nearby temples. The sevashram under construction is already looking so beautiful and built somewhat similar looking as Dakhsineshwar. This is also a ghat where many idols are submerged as a tradition but then in the interest of cleanliness of water , are taken out and left on the banks . Do also try the fuchka stalls . I will for sure next time !
