Truly Publik is just next to What's up cafe. We basically went for what's up but due to a long cue, couldn't enter there. Then we thought to dine in at Truly Publik. This is a very new cafe and for the first time we visited there. It was not at all crowded, just 3-4 tables were occupied. Well honestly speaking initially we had doubts for the quality of food. But trust me taste of food changed our mind. Staff's behavior also good, the ambience also nice. Happy hours also going till 11 and separate place for smoking also available. Overall we really liked it. And in this pandemic situation the precautions they have taken its really commendable.

I happened to visit this place a few days back and well, just by the ambience of this place, I was amazed, leaving the food and the drinks by. The place is decorated like a train compartment and has a very unique touch to it, with live screens and some amazing music. They have a dedicated bar area as well. Coming to food, I tried their Ceasar Salad, Gangura Chicken and Amritsari Chhole Kulche. The food was just splendid. The presentation was immaculate and that maybe would really attract you. Thank you Truly Publik for having me over.

A place which reminisces a strong notion of nostalgia, Truly Publik encompasses our pleasant memories from the past, with a touch of aristocracy and modernism from the future. If traveling by jam-packed local trains was a thing you did in the past, relive your good old days while sipping onto a glass of their specially curated drinks in this train themed restaurant. Look carefully onto the digital signboards, enjoy the rustic interiors, or move down with your friends and family to enjoy the exclusivity of a separate coach to enjoy some privacy and moments of your own. Be sure to purchase a ticket before entering the coaches, get yourself temperature-checked and sanitized, before you even think of grabbing hold of a seat for yourself. If the coach seems packed, hold your patience, grab one of the wooden hangings, and wait until the someone disembarks at their station. A throwback to the past, the dining section also has an attached smoking area, much like there used to be in the earlier days. And while you are reliving a moment of your past, do not forget to try some of the mouthwatering specials, to accompany your train journey. We started off with Dahi Ke Sholey, which had hung curd kebab flavoured with honey and chilli, served with coriander tamarind chutney; Gongura Chicken which had a well marinated chicken served with murukku, barja puff and fried cashew nuts, Amritsari Chole Kulcha, some lipsmacking Amritsari chole stuffed in mini kulchas, served with chole ka paani and mint chutney and finally Gilafi Kebab as our last starter, which had some wonderful minced Mutton kebabs, marinated with fragrant spices, something which will truly keep you salivating for more. For mains, we indulged into a heavenly combination of Mixed Fried Rice, with Schezwan Chicken, which was prepared with diced chicken in a spicy gravy, flavoured with Sichuan peppercorns. If you are an Italian buff, try the Barbeque Chicken Pizza here, which will have barbeque flavoured chicken slice on a pizza or the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza having sliced chicken, mozzarella cheese with hot peri peri sauce. Drink the shimmering Stargazer with a sweet candy, which has vodka, watermelon, elderflower, galaxy shimmer, cor-dial and citrus, to accompany the pizzas. If you are a whiskey fan, do try Jiji & T, a refreshingly bitter-sweet and aromatic drink, having a fusion of gin, whiskey, gondhoraj, curry leaves, lime leaf, tonic and cordial. For rum lovers, you can enjoy the tropical and outgoing drink Mera Rum Pyara Hai. Made of Dark Rum, guava, 5-spice cor-dial, cutrus and ginger ale, this heavenly concoction will surely keep you off your toes. At truly Publik we were truly elated with the exceptional service and mind blowing food quality, taste and presentation. It's very rare to find a place which serves exceptional food with lovely cocktails, excellent hookah and reasonably priced alcohol. A Special thanks to Sin Chan who is a gem, he went out of the way to give us a "Wow" service. Will certainly recommend people and visit very often.

A nice cafe cum bar on Southern Avenue near Golpark. Parking can be a bit tricky. Has both vegetarian and non vegetarian options to choose from. Nice selection of non-alcoholic beverages. They have tried to create the ambience of a railway compartment which has been thoughtfully done with windows, lights, fans resembling the same. Have set up a mock ticket counter too. The staff are nice and polite. Good service. Food is good in quality and quantity at a reasonable price. You have a selection of soups, salads, starters like crispy chilli babycorn, rolls, garlic bread. Options in main course includes pizzas, pastas, risotto, Chinese, and North Indian with limited desserts. Nice place to meet family and friends. Definitely worth a visit.
