This temple goddess named as Sri Ponniamman, it's one of the Kramma devathai,(village boundary ends on all four directions like this sakthi Amman temple was constructed to safeguard the village people in the ancient days) So this temple also maintained by the private under the team of Village persons called as 'punaruththaarana kuzhu. Pleasent ful,and peaceful,and can receive more vibration by clearing our expectations, simply saying More powerful godess of Sri ponniamma. This temple is located in the heart of PORUR city, To approach this temple from Arcot road via valasaravakkam to porur before flyover Right side very narrow roads and From poonamallee to Porur one more Road approach on LEFT SIDE next to Venkateswara Homeopathy hospital (ie: Opposite to PORUR LAKE), but all roads are very narrow since it is located in Village Every month Full moon day Special poojas are performed and In annually celebrated for Aadi month pooja is the grant festival. Normal days if We visited this temple there is not much of crowd,so that peacefully pray.

Excellent temple with large space, well planned and designed everyone must visit. Lot of space to sit and great environment. We can do marriage functions too at the same we can do 4 marriages in this temple. That much space we have.
