Good station and more trains will not stop here ,but here more two lines branching one towards chennai other towards tanjore here one famous movie had came that is kedi billa killadi rangi flim and passenger will stop here .and here goc loco shed is there mostly for diesel engines .andoverall good railway station.

One of a oldest railway station in india. Historical place. Started Workshop for diesal locomative engine now they are producing electric engine. Well developed railway workshop comes railway station. Need to maintain well. Museum also very well. We can visit and learn old history of Tiruchirappall
