Awesome Experience, It's beautiful. The area is well maintained.. Very good spot for family picnics and get together Parties. The falls are are known for their multicolored rainbow created on the scattered water because of the reflection of sunlight. It is a tourist attraction for picnics. The falls are close to the Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary. The Phurlijharan Waterfall is located in the Kalahandi district of the state of Odisha, India. It is a heaven for nature lovers. For those who are looking for peaceful holidays, this place is a must visit. The waterfall falling in a small river is the real beauty of this place as the structure of the ground is falling on the earth like a small water drop. Located 15 km from Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district in Odisha, Phurlijharan is also an ideal picnic spot.

Phurlijharan located in Kalahandi district, Odisha, India, which is different from the one in Cherrapunji. Phurlijharan waterfall in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi is a popular tourist attraction and is located approximately 15 km from the town. The waterfall is situated amidst the dense forest and cascades down from a height of approximately 30 meters (98 feet). The water falls into a pool below, which is an ideal spot for swimming and bathing. To reach Phurlijharan waterfall in Bhawanipatna, visitors can take a bus or hire a taxi from the town. The best time to visit the waterfall is during the monsoon season (July-October), when the water flow is at its peak, and the surrounding landscape is lush green and picturesque. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of the waterfall and indulge in activities like swimming, bathing, and picnicking.

Panoramic view of dazzling water falling from a good height amidst lush green forest within Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary situated at about 15 Km far from District Head Quarter, Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi. The sight scene of high hills and deep ravine standing at a remarkable height gives an life time imprint. Recently Phurli jharan waterfall has been renovated by the Tourist department. One can easily reach at the spot/ waterfall by a 2 or 4 wheeler.
