I tried the Chicken Poricha (Fry) Biriyani and was so disappointed.
Pathiri has some very unique dishes that are ought to be tried. I couldn’t grab their unique recipes due to the COVID crisis. The restaurant had cut short on their menu and stuck to the regular biriyani and fried rice in the roster.
Since I was short on uniqueness I ordered the Chicken Fry Biriyani. It came in a huge pan and consisted almost double the quantity of any regular. There was a huge piece of partially fried or roasted chicken hidden in the buttery rice. It was extremely spicy and I could barely eat the biriyani. I left with a half-full belly and a disappointed lunch.
I may have to come back again when they start their exotic dishes such as the nasi variant and their dynamite chicken.
The restaurant has decked out a descent ambience in a 70 seater diner on the first floor of the building and the ground floor is the miniature kunjipathiri outlet too.

Good ambience thats the first thing came to my mind. There are two restaurants, one in ground level and one in first floor. If you are for a quick bite then its good to try that in ground level. If you're with family and want to spend some quality time its good to dine in first floor. Parking available in the front for three to four cars. Malabar specials and some of their own specials are included in the menu. Staffs were also very nice.

A wide variety of cuisine served with good taste in a pleasing ambience. A seperate ample parking space, commendable considering the busy area. Moderate to premium pricing, justifiable for the service provided.

Nice and tasty food. Had Pomfret fry and Anchovies both tasted nice, but expensive. Anchovies for 170 and Pomfret for around 400 rs are unbelievable and unacceptable.
Biriyani they served was simply awesome and filled with fried chicken pieces.
Fish curry one of the best in trivandrum.
Note : every dish is a bit salty.
Parking available....

There were varieties of dishes but we Tried Pathiris special meals, koonthal porichath,Charcoal dum biryani and prawns biriyani. Meals and kunthal porichath was exceptionally good, properly prepared and great value for the price . Charcoal dum biryani was just amazing, still can't forger the taste. Ambience was peaceful and charming. Waiters were very much attentive. Will definitely suggest for our friends and family. Can't wait to go back❤
