This is my first trip in Kolkata on 12 Jan, 2023 and having bitter experience in Hotel VIP Continental at 40, Mirza Galib Street. I think this is the worst hotel in Kolkata. My family & I stayed two nights here and have to change the hotel due to their worst worst worst service. On my last day at this hotel, their electricity was gone at night and they've no back up,we spent the whole night without electricity. They are the money monger, took almost 4000 rupee per night but did'nt provide any service at all, they just provide the room only, don't provide any commodities, not even water for drink on welcome day. Their bed sheets, blankets all are super dirty, lift always out of service. On my last day at this hotel, request for some discounts as we were spending the whole night without electricity, but they refused me to do so. I would like to request all BD people not to go there as at this price range you'll get lots of better hotels in Kolkata city. If there any -ve ⭐ rivew, I would like to give them.

Worst hotel service in Kolkata I guess! This hotel doesn’t even provide basic toiletries and other basic things in the rool service. The hotel changes reserved the room after the booking, therefore you can't get your room what you've reserved before. The stuffs are not well mannered, their behaviour is very annoying. The washroom facilities aren’t satisfactory. If possible, avoid staying this hotel.

You will find no one even after several calls
Whole 2nd floor corridor was full of toilet smell

There was no Air condition services, although it was a AC rented room. Repeatedly requested to run the AC, but they didn’t...
In the night we keep open the glass windows to survive in high temperature... Horrible situation...
