One of the best place that I have ever experienced, If you are really travelling to this place I would suggest don't go with those horse, travel this place by walking. Best time to visit is in the morning around 6:30-7:00 when sunrise. I started my trek in the morning around 4:30-5:00. It took around 1-1.5 hrs to reach there from matheran railway station. Feel the place when No one is there, Experience the fresh Air, sun rise with a bird sound melody. I visited this place in the first week of September 2021. I'll say its a Heaven ! #walk #trek #weather #monsoon#jungleway #matheran

It was an amazing experience, especially because of monsoon. The trek was pretty smooth along with jungle patches in between totally covered with trees. Can recommend this trek to begginers also. Only difficult part arrives in the end where we were supposed to find a trail ourselfs along the rocky part which was tricky also due to heavy rains and clouds. The trek ends up at Matheran.
