Friday Team lunch at Nook - Claimed to be Friday special buffet at higher price (1800 + tax). They offered a corporate discount. - Had visited with my team for team lunch event - food spread looked good, decent ambience and quiet - extremely disappointed with food quality and taste. Chicken roast and other starters were pre-cooked well in advanced and hardened due to reheating. Even one of the chefs had hard time cutting a piece for serving. Main course was average and nothing special. Deserts, again looked tempting but taste was not upto the mark. Tiramisu was a disaster. - complained to the manager after starters only to get a response that " we can heat up and serve on table that is what we can do". I gently refused as didn't feel like eating much there. - I have visited this place multiple times. Quality/taste of the food definitely has gone down. Disappointing for a Marriott brand.

We went yesterday for dinner, the buffet spread was very limited, the option for veg was less and also the quality of preperation was average. Their service is also average. After we complaint they kind of tried to improve but by that time we were already done with the dinner. It's not worth for the price that you pay here. Won't recommend.

Ambience is good. Starters are very limited. Good place for meetings and corporate outings. Not so many varieties for foodies.

It's been 5 years since I have been frequently visiting Nook at Aloft. But never ever has the experience been so disappointing. Two of us visited for lunch buffet today, the quality of the items, like Paneer, has gone down drastically. On selection bit, for soups, there was just one, as a standard, there are always two soups, one veg and one non-veg. For breads too, there was just one type, soft buns. But most surprising was the desserts counter, seemed like they had kept all the leftover cakes in a tray, and named them as 'Assorted Cakes', most of them not even fresh. Pls see the attached image and you will know what I mean. You cannot treat your customers like this, your dessert counter was simply offending! Even service was quite disappointing today. Indian breads were pretty good though, full marks for that! Called the Asst. Manager to give the feedback. Post which the main Manager In-charge came, along with the Executive Chef Gulzar, heard our concerns, apologized and promised to take care of these going ahead. Felt very pleasant talking with the manager, kudos to him, he took my number too to inform me once they have full menu on the buffet, pls pass-on my appreciation to him. As a customer, I felt fully contended and happy, and thought will go back, rate the experience as 5 star! Then we asked for the bill. One of the service staff said that the buffet charges for both of us have been waived off by the main manager. We dint expect that as we were already quite happy after speaking with the main manager, but it was a delight no doubt, so we asked him to call the manager to thank him. Instead, the Asst. Manager showed up, and he brought a bill, waiving off charges for one of us only, which felt awkward & embarrassing. Now here is the point - Even if you had charged for full, that would have bee perfectly fine, as we din't expect any waiver at all. But if you were making a special gesture, but waiving off charges for one person, and charging for the other, I wonder doesn't Aloft has a heart and budget to afford the waiver for both? And that too backtracking after communicating to the customer that charges have been waved off completely? That was petty on your part, left a really bad taste in our mouth, seriously, we were pretty happy after speaking the with your main manager, this partial waiver did more damage than good!

Their hospitality and service is the worst. We had called a day before and booked a table for a corporate lunch of 10 people at 1pm. Next day at 12:30pm I got a call from an unknown number at office. I called back in 4 mins but no one responded. When we arrived at the restaurant at 12:50pm I realised they had made the call, and “released” our booked table. I have never seen a restaurant so unethical that they cancel a confirmed booking half an hour BEFORE the reservation time, because the customer did not immediately pick up (and even called back!). How greedy are they?! They argued with me and my seniors, and then offered to put up a table in the reception lobby (???). When we refused, they cramped us on smaller tables, split the group, and even these tables were hoarded by random people when we went to take items from the buffet. The buffet itself is bad, both in taste and variety. We had chosen it for proximity in the business hub but not worth it. Very overpriced. Our group later agreed that even sticking to our office cafeteria would have made for a much better experience ?
