This is the lake built by Nilamma, so know as Nilamman Kere ( lake ). This was the source of drinking water to the Navalagund town. It has two entrances i.e West and north entrance. In the north entrance there is a statue of the Nilamma. Local people worship her. The lake will be filled by the canals from the Malaprabha river. This place has its own mini garden. People can come here for picnic. There were local stories about the how this lake has built.
