This is probably the oldest non vegetarian eatery in Trivandrum. It’s glory days are past. Now located in a single room with seating not permitted due to Covid, one thing has remained unchanged- the super taste of the food. Their speciality has been chilly chicken, I ate this for the first time from Nikunjam.
Now you get other standard fare as well. The price is reasonable.
Don’t worry about parking. The sides of entire six lane road is yours.

They call it chilly chicken but it is unique, and you cannot relate with the normal chilly chicken variants you get from other restaurants. Onion is the major content in recipe.

Trivandrums much famed "Nikunjam" reopens as Nikunjam Restaurant in the same location as it was before. The famous Chilly chicken is back in town and is much like before, very tasty and very spicy. The renovated hotel seems good to host more people than the old one. Anyways what matters the most is that, food is still like the old times.
