We dine out not only for the food but also the service - that’s what makes an experience, truly special. Heard about the chowder at the Vivanta and decided to get some - commendable service by Sanjay who made the evening memorable by his excellent service and attention to detail.
And yes, the chowder is excellent

Came for a staycation with family for a day at The Gateway hotel, Vivanta and enjoyed lunch, dinner, breakfast at MYNT. The custom made order was tailored to fit all our demands. The salt and pepper fish and chicken tikka kebab was great for starters. Then we had lachha paratha, kulcha, tandoori roti as choice of Indian breads and moorgh lababdar, fish dopiaza, navaratna korma as main course. We also ordered peas pulao as side dish. For desserts they gave us brownie with vanilla ice cream, sandesh and Ras Malai.
For lunch we had mixed fried rice with Malaysian chicken.
The next day at breakfast we had an enormous spread of buffet waiting for us at the restaurant. Lots of juices, fresh fruit salads, different flavored yogurts, multiple choice of breads (chocolate, dry fruit, jelly, Danish, bagels) , grilled tomato, sausages, potato wedges, noodles, puri-aloo subji, dosa, parata , scrambled eggs, sonny side up eggs and chocolate/strawberry waffle from live counter, boiled vegetables, muffins, cookies, sandesh and many many more items. Enjoyed it a lot, the food was delicious.

Kudos to the Mynt-Vivanta team for the wonderful hospitality and warmth to celebrate my son’s birthday at the splendid Sunday Brunch. A special mention for the exceptional service extended by Somajit and Somnath. We were really touched and will cherish those moments for a long time, especially the fantastic singing. Above all, the wonderful buffet spread was easily the best that I have ever had and is superior to any other 5-star hotel – thanks to the magic created by Executive Chef, Sumalya Sarkar!

I went to mynt for dinner on Holi. I was little sceptical about mynt as I didn't find great reviews about it as compared to other 5* restaurants. But to my surprise the price, quality, spread everything was awesome. Even the service of staffs was also courteous and it was a really soothing and peaceful ambience. I would surely recommend Mynt and Debjit thanks for such a great service.
