A serene place to go to. Not much crowd and there is leakage from water dam making it a perennial spring. So you can enjoying bathing here even when it's not raining. It can also be used for night stay in tent.

The volume content is 18,075 km3 (4,336 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 19,089.00 km3 (4,579.69 cu mi).

Very good place for a one day picnic. Not crowded. Swimming is water is dangerous and not allowed. Less space for parking. The road becomes an off-roading trail once you cross the dam

A quick getaway near Panvel. Serene calm location and less visited as well. Sunrise and Sunset are the best time to be here. Especially beautiful during monsoons coz it’s all green around. Free Parking is available.
