Best Psychiatrist for Depression and anxiety in Porur, Chennai. I had been having stress related issues such as anxiety, depression and insomnia since the last few years. When I was working in IT in Bangalore and then in Chennai, I had consulted a few doctors at different points of time. I was on medication, had counseling sessions with the Psychiatrists but nothing really improved my sleep much. After a long and distressing battle with these issues is when I got in touch with Dr. Lakshmi Prabha, Mind Medik Clinic, Chennai. She was very obliging and listened to what I had to say, patiently. She spent close to an hour for the initial sessions to understand what I was going through and what caused me stress and anxiety and how I could overcome it with some changes to my life. The medications he gave me were the most effective ever and finally I started getting some sleep. My anxiety levels also came down helped by the medications and counseling where I could express my concerns, fears and problems to the doctor. She advised me to strictly adhere to sleep timings regularly. Helped by all the above mentioned factors along with changes to my lifestyle(I decided to change my career as well), I felt much better as days progressed. I have been sleeping well and gradually reducing the dosage of the medicines. Depression and anxiety are almost gone. My world feels a lot more happier these days .Thanks to Dr. Lakshmi Prabha!!!

Madam really knows the subject well and got enormous patience to hear our problem. I definitely recommend this place for psychiatry related issues. The ambience is also more like a boutique and not of a regular clinic. Kudos to team. All the best.

Dr.Lakshmi Prabha is a true professional with a deep & in-depth knowledge & experience in pediatric Psychology. Best Pediatric Psychiatrist treatment for educational problem ,socio-familial or behavioral problems affecting. My daughter has serious ADHD and learning difficulties. I had lost hope in her. After Dr.Lakshmi Prabha her consultation and advice she is now performing academically and socially well. Thank you Mam!!
