This place is beautiful. If you ever in Calicut city, this is the place for sunrise and sunset. Not so crowded, very sceneric at morning.
I strongly believe this place is hardwork of many people, especially people live near it. Now it is public's duty to keep it clean and be supportive to them.

A great viewpoint for watching sunset on the Arabian sea, overlooking the cityscapes of Kozhikode. Concrete benches are scattered around the park to enjoy the majestic sunset. High rise buildings like the Stadium, KSRTC stand, beach hotel, etc... Can be seen holding their heads high above the dense coconut trees. Few mins drive from city center.

Mango park is located at the hilltop of Ervathukunnnu, hardly 3-4 km away from calicut city. It's a calm view point to relax 1 - 2 hours, you can get the long view of calicut city from mango park. The sunset view is awsome to watch, chairs are fixed for the visitors here. It's a nice place for jogging, lot of people use to be here to do excercise in the morning and evenings. Mango park is on the way to P.K Kesava Menon Smrithi vanam Park which is just ahead of this spot, also Eravathukunnu Malaithevar Shiva Temple is located close to this place only.
