Its an old building  situated on Lal market street. Staff is courteous and helpful. Pros: Located on Lal market road walkable from MG road. Vehicle access till hotel entrance is a big plus in gangtok. rooms with boiler no restriction on hotwater esp helpful in winters. Large cosy rooms with wooden lining. Food is average and reasonably priced. Room service available. Cons: very steep climb from main road. No lift fitted, problematic for senior citizens to move around. Dining room on 4th floor and no lift makes it a task going for meals or breakfast. Rooms are old and poorly ventilated, no fans due to low ambient temp in gangtok. Overall average experience, however the staff is very good and tries to make up for whatever shartfalls arising out of location and no elevator. Food choice for buffet breakfast is limited, however lots of snack joints within walking distance are available

We booked 3 rooms there, but we all were very much disappointed because of their staffs. Whenever we ask for anything, they said it's unavailable. Geyser was not working in one room. We want extra bed then they did not provide bedsheet for extra bed..they just don't pay attention . We continuously demanding bedsheet from 3 days but no response from them...only answer is yes yes we are arranging. Breakfast was not good. And there is no view from the window. Just good thing is that it is just near the MG Marg Road.
