It's awesome place for boating... Nice greenery everywhere.... Blue water-blue sky-green hills made the place beautiful together.... Local boat and speed boat both available... This place isn't too far from Dhanbad... it's only 45 km from the Dhanbad railway junction... Or only 6.5 km away from Kumardubi railway station (nearest station of this place), Jharkhand....

Nice place for a day outing. Manual boat for 1hr package is mandatory. Best time to go at November to February.

A water reservoir which spans over 65 square kilometres. The view of the water reservoir in the sunset is excellent. Boating facilities are available both for normal, paddle and speed boat for a fee.

quiet serene place admist blue water, country boat and speed boating facility available, 100/- per head (as on 02-12-19) Dam side restaurant serves foods and beverages , share or reserve auto available for transport. Deer park can be seen from above the lock gates but not allowed to enter.
