Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam is a dam across the Mahi River. It is situated almost 16 kms from Banswara Town(Rajasthan). It was constructed between 1972 and 1983 for the purpose of creating Hydroelectric Power and for cure the inefficient water supply. It is the longest dam and second largest dam in the Rajasthan. It is the biggest multipurpose project for tribal area of Rajasthan. Exact Location is Borkheda Village near Banswara. The Height is 43 m and length is 3019m. It is a must visit for all the tourist. Awesome, awesome, awesome place where i feel very, very excited. Currently 6 gates are opened and will remain almost for one month. The water comes down and float again look like a shower of milk. It gives me a lot of pleasure and excitement. Such a great place situated at Banswara.
