Excellent food! On our recent visit to Pondicherry for 3 days we had our breakfast and lunch everyday at this place. Awesome tasty food which tastes exactly as you would make at home. The owner Mr Shakti is courteous and gracious host, very hospitable and caters to your requirements. Don't ever miss this place, it's very close to Promenade beach road. We are definitely going there again on our next visit

Simple and sweet restaurant with a seating capacity for 20 ppl . Very neat and hygienic premises. Priya runs the restuarant and she is well versed with, English, French and Tamil. Welcoming and polite staff. Simple dishes like podi idly, Vada and other south Indian items are very tasty. These dishes may seem simple but they are lot more fresh and tastier compared to any other typical idly Vada selling resturant. In a nutshell, I am a happy customer who ate here 4 times in 2 day of my stay in Pondicherry.

When we visited Pondicherry for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised when we had our breakfast in Maams cafe. It serves the best South Indian tiffin in Pondicherry. Located conveniently on S.V. Patel Road very close to the Promenade beach, Maams cafe stands out for the quality of food and hygiene. If you want tasty and clean South Indian tiffin, Maams cafe is the place to go. Don't waste time trying out different hotels.
