In past there was a person named Debananda who hated and condemned Baishnab religion. SriSri Chaitannya Mahaprovu, spiritual leader of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, came here in Krishna Choturdashi of Bangla Agrahayn month ( Nov/Dec ) , forgave all sin of Debananda and turned him faithful to All mighty God ( Lord Krishna). In that memory SriPat Kulia is known as Aparadh Bhanjaner Pat to Baishnab religious beliefs.
In the shrine in addition to the sacred idols of Lord Krishna and SriRadhika , idols of SriSri Chaitannya Mahaprovu and Sri Nityananda Provu are worshipped daily.
Annual religious festivals are
1. Bangla Agrahayn month ( Nov/Dec) Krishna Ekadashi tithi ( with Mela of three days duration). Huge nos of devotees come here at this time.
2. Dolyatra.
3. Rushpurnima.
This temple is maintained by Kanchrapara Pizrapole society.
