Check post before the forest ghats.. need to give your vehicle number and the place where you are traveling...
There are shops open 24 hrs near the check post... Omlet stalls.. tea stalls... Snacks and soft drinks available 24 hrs near the check post...
Onion pakodas kababs also available in the stalls... In the check post we need to give the details from where and where too we are travelling.. and there is timing within which we have to reach the other side of the gate..

Very diligent forest ranger staff. Was helpful in helping us navigate through the forest. They provided us with a pass that help us to reach out to them in times of distress.

If you really want to enjoy the virgin beauty of nature you should visit and stay for 3 to 4 days at this govt owned park..there are 2 trekking points which of which the Kudremukh one is very tought...but really worth every moment ...but need to be little sportive..since it's not luxurious..its simple, and very economic
