Ancient and nice temple. We went at 830am. The priest was just coming in to open the gates and Sannidhis..He took about an hour to do the initial poojai before opening the Perumal an Thayaar Sannidhis. So, better to go after 10am.
Parking is available at the fort high school signal, over the underground metro.

Kote Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy ???
Notable Hindu temple complex built in 1689 by King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar, then ruler of Mysore.
The main deity is lord Venkateshwara Swamy called with many names like Govinda , Balaji etc...
To the right side of the Venkateshwara Swamy after dharshan exiting from there you can find Sri Anjaneya Swamy.
To the left side of Venkateshwara Swamy the goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru will give dharshan and when u pass by towards left u can find adhala medha where Deepalankara is done for swamy Venkateshwara.
The temple is near the metro station of k.R market for easy commutes.
Special poojas will be held on every Saturday and auspicious day like Vaikuntha ekadashi and shrava masam and so on the lord Venkateshwara Swamy will be decorated with gold jewellery and with lots of flowers ? the one cherish the moment of getting blessings of this auspicious day ???.
All the rituals are done here and one can book for kalyanothsava, archana , abhishekam etc in advance by contacting the temple management.

This temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara dates back to the era of Mysore Kings. Kote in Kannada means fort. Located in the fort area of K.R. Market, it has gained popularity as Kote Venkateshwara. The prakara is huge and has temples of Mother Mahalakshmi & Anjaneya. A peaceful environment and lighting in the evening is superb. The poojas are done by a family of dedicated Vaishnavites. The temple comes under by the Muzrai department of Govt. of Karnataka. Parking for devotees is available in front of the temple. Opens at 9 am in the morning and 7 pm in the evening. Buses stop in front of the temple and BMTC bus stand, Kalasipalyam & Metro station are at a walkable distance.
