This place is awesome. Hands down the best display of Native American Art, Weapons, Clothing and Bead work available anywhere. You also cannot forget the dancers. Young children from all walks of life, learning these skill so they can raise money to give others these same opportunities. I love it!

I am a big fan of the Kosharie Museum and gift shop and the dedication and labors of Jeremy Manyik, the museum's curator and a local artist. The museum was originally created back in 1949 as a kiva for boy scout troops to perform indigenous dances for the public that they learned from the New Mexico Pueblo natives. Since then a beautiful museum for native American artifacts was added and expanded over time. Some of Jeremy's works are also on display there. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts still perform on Friday and Saturday evenings during a specific season of the year. Their hoop dancers are incredible performers

The low rating is because of people claiming cultural appropriation on a group of teenagers whp have spent plenty of time with native americans on reservations studying and understanding their culture better than those who write the negative reviews. Amazing dancers, art pieces inside are gorgeous, highly recommend
