One of the best sight seeing & tourist place in Moodbidri Area. Good for half day trekking & spending liesure time on the mountain rock top. On my last visit I came across a foreigner sadhu who was meditating on the mountain top near the small cave & water pond. There's a temple on the way to the rock top. You can rest there for sometime & continue your treak to the top. There are no much shops there so make sure you take all the eatables & don't throw any plastic on the route! There are secret CC TV camera's in the nature that will spot you & hunt your food.

Konnaje Kallu is a large hill like rock, with a smaller rock next to it, that is a landmark in the western ghat region of Karnataka. It visible from a radius of 15 kilometers and you know where you are, like the north star in see. As children we learnt how to find the direction to our house by looking at this Kallu, the stone. There is a temple near by. No amenities or facilities available here.
