Absolutely a wonderful space to spent an evening or morning.. Really amazing view of the canal, the vegetable fields and the vellayani lake... Nature at its best.. Better to be there before 8.00 am or after 5.00pm... We can buy pure vegetables grown there directly from the farmers.. Kireedam palam is also a must watch.. Will be a wonderful treat for eyes and mindā¤

I often visit this place but still feels like a fresh new atmosphere . Better for the one who just want to spend their golden hour . But nowadays there is a bit rush during weekends

If u are visiting this place make sure u cover punchakari wetlands and also vellayani lake. Its nearby only.
Best time to visit here is at the evenings.

Kireedam Bridge (Kireedam Palam) at Punchakkari. The bridge got its name from the famous Malayalam Movie Kireedam. We are at the Kireedam Movie Shooting Location in Trivandrum.
The movie Kireedam was released in 1989 and now we are celebrating 31 years of Kireedam. The movie is a well known classic that stays in the hearts of all Malayalees forever. We are also a fan of our great complete actor Lalettan(Mohanlal). The best acting and performance by Thilakan sir is also worth mentioning in the movie.
