Very neat and clean station with a calm nature. Here you will not find any public disturbance. Accident cases are very rare. Sometimes rale gates become damaged but the situations are taken care of very soon.

A good railway station with well modified connectivity options. In peak time or office hours trains are literally seen to be packed up in this station. Bad things are that some galloping trains do not stop here. Otherwise fully shaded and with toilet and drinking water facility. The ticket counter is crowded most of the time. The B.T. road is very near to it.

This station serves Northern Suburbs of Kolkata and has 4 platforms with 4 lines...this station has recently got ISO certification for being environment friendly.. Only slow local trains have scheduled halts here, at this station.. galloping local trains and passenger trains does not have scheduled halts at this station
