A large part of Keystone’s work is based on taking the importance and viability of indigenous knowledge back to the communities here, which have faced a rapid devaluation of their traditional systems at the behest of intense modernization.
The PNC, in an attempt to offer a space for endangered knowledge, becomes an information hub on thematic areas such as language, food cultures, seasonality and biodiversity, agricultural patterns, festivals and social gatherings amongst others. Communities retain control and agency over their representation, and access to their knowledge is guided by ethical community protocols.

Creative and innovative solutions, result-oriented action, environmental responsibility and awareness, social consciousness......one can go on adding to this list and it would still not be complete.....is there, all under one expansive roof....and growing. Going there is a homecoming for me, love the beautiful, peaceful ambience.

Its the World headquarter of its eight centres around the world. It helps the indegenous people and forest based communities to enhance their traditional practices of honey hunting and Bee keeping with the use of appropriate technology.
It's a great campus with facilities for students and academic researchers for stay and food. I recommend it for visiting once. A very good ambience with natural surroundings gives a break from hectic rush of daily life!
