Tons of fishes, and variety too if you reach before 12 o clock. After that you are only going to get Matti. The rate was reasonable, matti was sold at rate of 100/kg. Fresh and good ones. Entry charges were 10rs if you are stopped and asked to take a ticket. All in all a good fish harbour near kayamkulam and the way towards it is very scenic. The bridge leading towards it is absolutely stunning.

Located near Azheekkal bridge. A good place to buy freshly caught small fishes like sardine, mackeral, anchovy etc. There are entry fees for vehicles. Huge parking area.

Harbour is located very near to the azheekkal beach. We can buy good fresh fish here with or without auction. It goes without saying that there is no other port as good as this in terms of price and quantity. You will understand if you go there. The harbor area is very neat and clean. There is plenty of parking space for customers and the parking fee is not higher.
