OLD AGE HOME
Karuna Old Age Home named “Karuna Abhayakendram” situated in vettiparamb, Poonjar Panjayath, Near Erattupetta
PALLIATIVE CARE
Home care, led by a volunteer team visit once in a week to provides mental and physical comfort to long term bed ridden patients.
NURSING CARE
Nursing care programme provides the weekly checkups of pressure and sugar, catheter changing, dressing the wounds of the bed ridden patients.
FOOD AND MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION
Widows and families whose breadwinner is in beds ridden are being provided with food and medicine kits monthly. Food kits are distributed monthly to 150 such families.
Onam, Ramzan kits are also being provided..
PALLIATIVE CLINIC AND RELIEF CENTRE
Along with providing medical care to the bedridden patients,
relief centre distributes medicine and medical equipments for needy people.
AMBULANCE SERVICE
There are 2 ambulances are operating under Karuna as a 24 x 7 hour services. Almost 5000 services have already been completed at low cost and free of coast
EDUCATIONAL AID
Educational aid, such as learning aids like books, bags, uniform are being provided for the children of impoverished patients in Karuna.
